Chelsea Garland recognized her passion for horses when she was just eight years old. As a middle and high school student she spent her afternoons and weekends at the Pine Tree Equestrian Center in Beverly Farms and the Ascot Farm in Ipswich. She loved dressage and she also became an excellent jumper. She spent summers in Vermont at the Brown Ledge Camp in Colchester, Vermont. She loved spending time in Vermont and being around her beloved horses and her camp friends.
Chelsea appreciated the healing nature of animals, especially horses. It was her dream to become a large animal vet. Chelsea became part of the Windrush Family in 2016. Because of her extensive horse experience Chelsea was trained as a horse handler and Windrush was very grateful for her support in our summer program and in the barn.
