Susan Foster’s Legacy: The Gift of a Bequest
Windrush Farm friend Susan Foster, a lifelong lover of animals and open spaces, passed away last December. She was a passionate gardener, beekeeper, equestrian, animal lover, and outdoors woman. Her horse, Nafana, has lived at Windrush for more than 20 years. In honor of her love of horses and the work that Windrush does, Susan bequeathed a portion of her estate to the farm. Foster’s donation will help support the farm’s daily operations.
“This wonderful gift aids us in meeting the everyday needs of the farm. It will help to underwrite the costs for our weekly clients as well as to care for our animals,” says Mandy Hogan, Windrush Executive Director.
You, too, can support our clients and horses by making a bequest to Windrush Farm in your will. By planning today, your gift to Windrush Farm can have a meaningful impact tomorrow. We are able to serve many people because of the generosity of those who have supported us through a bequest.
