Windrush Farm is absolutely THRILLED to partner Paper Clouds Apparel starting on JUNE 10th! Here are the deets on this fabulous collaboration.
Paper Clouds Apparel is a t-shirt company dedicated to help raise money for special needs schools and organizations while showcasing the amazing artistic talents of those with special needs. Check out this cool video about their founder, Robert Thornton, and his mission in life to “do something to give back”. The organization not only HELPS people with special needs, it also EMPLOYS people with special needs.
Beginning on June 10th, Paper Clouds will be selling t-shirts featuring artwork from two special young men. Logan and Connor, aka “Bug”.
50% of the profits will go to Windrush!!!
Logan, a student at Windrush Farm, is an local, Amesbury High School junior who struggles with developmental delays. He participated in the Windrush Farm program and found a passion for horses. Artwork just recently became an outlet for him. His mom, Allyson, says it was a very special moment when she found his first drawing. And guess what it was…a horse. It will be featured on the shirts along with his skull and crossbones design.
Now…Allyson runs a facebook page, the crumb diaries, sharing the everyday trials and tribulations of “life with a special needs teen, a full time job, a newly married daughter, 3 dogs, a bull and a husband.” From there she got “Rockin Autism Mom” involved. She, too, runs a facebook page self-entitled a “Diary of a Mom, Wife, & Jill of all trades.” Her son Connor, aka “Bug” designed an owl featured in this collection.
Windrush is honored to be involved with Paper Clouds Appeal. And Connor and Logan’s designs are absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait for the t-shirts to go on sale! Stay tuned for updates.
And in the meantime check out Rockin Autism Mom’s blog about our partnership and the crumb diaries post.
It’s collaborations like this that make us smile. Thank you for all your support.
